Chloe McCafferty was among those to have completed their studies at the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ this year. She achieved First Class Honours in her degree in Psychology.

“I feel so proud of myself. It’s been a bit of an odd year with everything being up in the air due to the pandemic, and adjusting to it has been a challenge, but everyone as been so supportive, both at university and home,”

“I always aspired to get a First Class degree and for it now to be a reality, especially during the current situation, definitely adds a silver lining to 2020.”

Chloe is now studying for a Master’s in Counselling, alongside completing an online course for a Diploma in Counselling skills. Her career aspiration is to become a registered Counselling Psychologist

“I was apprehensive at first with the change to full online teaching and having to complete my dissertation under the circumstances,” she said. “However, the lecturers navigated it really well and gave us lots of opportunities to contact them if we needed. I have found that throughout everything, the Psychology course staff have been incredibly supportive.”
