Our four campuses are unified by one vision: to create the right environment for you. That means investing in outstanding facilities, and the flexibility for you to shape your university experience, your way.

Outstanding facilities

The St John’s, Severn, and City Campuses are closely linked by footpaths, bus services and cycle routes, and are all within a 20-minute walk of each other. Just a 10-minute drive in to the beautiful Worcestershire countryside will bring you to our Lakeside Campus.

Your course – your way

Every student has access to computers, e-learning resources and a well-stocked library to support their studies, but at Worcester, we recognise that students also need specialist facilities that enable them to explore every aspect of their subject.

Future healthcare professionals can hone their skills in our clinical simulation suites, developing confidence and competence in key skills before being asked to execute them on placement.

The Art House is a stunning redevelopment of one of the city’s best loved buildings that provides all the studio, workshop, and exhibition spaces that our arts students need to refine their talents and enhance their future employability by responding to briefs from external clients.

Sports students can take advantage of the award-winning ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ Arena – an internationally acclaimed 2,000 seat venue, physiology labs, performance analysis suites and a 3D motion capture laboratory, to get hands on with a range of skills within their discipline that link directly in to future careers.

And with a state of the art climate control chamber, along-side microbiology and forensics labs, students in the sciences have the practical spaces to test their latest theory.

From the purpose built Law Court suite, to the Business Incubator for budding entrepreneurs, the facilities at Worcester will not only provide you with the perfect environment in which to explore your subject, but also the experience to know how to put your skills to work in the world outside the lecture theatre.

“From all the excellent new study facilities at the University I especially like the Hive – a fantastic big library where you can find all the books that you need. It’s very modern and high-tech.”

Zhana Yovcheva, International student

Your study – your space

With a variety of learning spaces available across the University, including group, social, silent and 24-hour study zones, there’s a study space to suit every task.

In the spotlight – the Hive

The Hive exterior appears very golden against a dramatic dark blue sky

The Hive is a bold reimagining of what a library should be in the 21st century. It is a joint public and university library, shared by the people of Worcester and the University alike, and the first of its kind in Europe.

The golden structure is home to a quarter of a million books, over 12 miles of archive collections, one of the nation’s most imaginative children’s libraries, a dedicated studio space, and a variety of meeting rooms and event spaces. In short, everything an enquiring mind might need to satisfy an appetite for learning.

With over 48 awards to its name, The Hive is now the most celebrated university library in the country.

“The facilities at the University are really good, especially the clinical rooms where students can attend training simulations to build on skills and experience scenarios before going out into practice, preparing for the real ward experience.”

Christopher McClelland, Adult Nursing BSc (Hons) student
