Kirstie is an Adult Nurse Lecturer at the University, residing in West Oxfordshire with her husband, two daughters, and beloved Cockerpoo, Marley. Originally from Chesterfield in Derbyshire and most recently from Lincolnshire, Kirstie qualified as a nurse in 2016 and has extensive experience in emergency and elective surgical wards, specialising in gastro, bowel, breast, and gynaecology patients. In 2019, she transitioned to Clinical Education within a Lincolnshire Trust, igniting her passion for supporting staff and students. Kirstie joined the University of Lincoln as a Clinical Tutor in 2020 and has been dedicated to enhancing the experiences of Nursing Students ever since. She holds a PGDip with Fellowship in Education and aspires to complete a full MSc soon. Kirstie is committed to ensuring a seamless transition between theory and placement for her students. She is looking forward to meeting colleagues and students and is always ready to share a cup of Yorkshire Tea.
