Gill has been working at the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ since 2012 and teaches predominantly across the Sport Business Management course curriculum.  

Gill specialises in leading modules that develop the professional development of sport business management students through professional placement, sandwich year placement mentoring as well as event project management. Gill has extensive experience of working on collaborative projects and continues to research in areas related to Generation Z, gender equity in sport and is an active member of the Inclusive Sport and Physical Activity Research Group.

Current research projects focus on EFL Championship football fandom and the state of athletics in the UK.
