Felicity is a Lecturer in Law and joined the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ in 2017. She is module leader for Family Law and European Union Law, as well as supporting students as a personal academic tutor. Felicity contributes to various other modules on the LL.B, including judging mooting assessments and supervising dissertations.
Felicity graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2003 and has taught in various educational settings. She is passionate about the promotion and protection of human rights, especially in domestic and family settings; during her LL.M she specialised in researching restorative justice mechanisms for victims of armed conflict.

Research Interests
Felicity is a member of the University’s Constitutions, Rights and Justice Research Group. Her research interests include the promotion of children’s rights in Family Law and exploring the effectiveness of holistic and restorative approaches to family disputes, as alternatives to litigation.
Her current research focuses on the legal unenforceability of surrogacy arrangements and the potential impact this has on the human rights of all parties; this is due to be published in 2023.
