Prakash is a part-time PhD student in the Three Counties School of Nursing & Midwifery at the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥.
Prakash’s main research interest is education, training and stability of emergency medicine doctors. His PhD research concerns how middle-grade doctors could be developed into consultants through a structured in-house training programme based on Self Determination Theory. He is conducting a mixed-methods study into a mixed-method evaluation of structured CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) training programme in emergency medicine.
Prakash is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine department at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) NHS Trust. Prakash is very grateful to DBTH for funding his PhD.
