Ben is the Placements and Employability Manager for the Institute of Arts & Humanities and is responsible for managing and coordinating the employability provision across the institute. Ben works closely with heads of department and employability leads across the institute to deliver opportunities for all students to develop and discover their interests for a graduate career.
Prior to joining Worcester, Ben was at the University of Gloucestershire where he completed a degree in Hospitality Management, working in the kitchens at Cheltenham Racecourse, activity hotels in Devon and retail as an undergraduate before graduating and returning to the University to commence a career in HR where he completed his CIPD part-time.
Following several years in recruitment, he moved into a placement coordination and employer engagement supporting: Media, Sport, Business, Humanities, Early Childhood studies & Health & Social Care before joining Worcester in his current role.
Ben has worked in Higher Education for the past 10 years and has a passion for supporting students discover their potential and new interests whilst at University. A big advocate for work-based learning to put academic theory into practice and understand it’s real world application.

BA (Hons) Hospitality Management (2:1)
PG Diploma in HR (CIPD)
