The event, timed to coincide with the start of the Paris Olympics, pitted teams of local people against one another in a series of fun and interesting challenges, from riding a mechanical ‘rodeo sheep’ to battling it out with gladiator-style pugil sticks, and even ‘welly wanging’!

Teams from Tenbury Wells, Kington, Kidderminster, Rushwick, Ledbury, Worcester, and Powick battled it out in various rounds, with ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ staff on hand to instruct for events including kayaking and archery.

It all took place at Lakeside Campus; a 50-acre site located to the north of Worcester, around a 10-minute drive from St John’s Campus. It’s home to water sports lakes, woodlands, and an outdoor education activity centre.
