HoW College Principal Visits ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ to Strengthen Links

The new Principal and Chief Executive of Heart of Worcestershire College said she was looking forward to building new and strengthening existing successful links with the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ to help bring opportunities to individuals and local business.
Michelle Dowse visited the University to meet the Vice Chancellor, Professor David Green CBE DL, and Pro Vice Chancellor for Partnerships, Mick Donovan. She was given a tour of the University’s campuses, including the historic City Campus and the Art House, The Hive, Arena and the new Elizabeth Garrett Anderson building for health and medical education.
“The University has some fabulous facilities and it’s clear the benefits this brings to our county,” she said. “Both the College and the University are important enhancers of our community, Collaborative work between us will ensure employers have the skilled workforce they need to thrive.”
Ms Dowse said the College and University together played an important role in ensuring students become equipped with the right skills for the future, working hand in hand with businesses.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with the University and further building relationships that bring benefits to our students and the wider communities that we serve,” she said.
Professor David Green CBE DL, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of the University, said he was delighted to welcome Michelle to the campus and the City.
“I am very much looking forward to working with Michelle and her excellent team at Heart of Worcestershire College. Woking together we can really help young people in Worcestershire to become skilled and to make a truly vital contribution to building a vibrant economy,” he said.
