For me, Worcester was a love at first sight. Having come to Worcester for their Open Day, I decided what my first choice would be. I loved the city, the friendly-community and all the support available for students.
Finishing my degree during the global pandemic was not easy. I was struggling to concentrate on my final assignments and I was really grateful for the support I received from my lecturers and personal tutor. Also, the choice of extending our deadlines made me very happy!
During my studies, I had the opportunity to undertake a placement year, where I worked as the International Marketing Assistant at the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥. I would say this placement year definitely helped me to achieve employment straight after graduating.
My passion has always been traveling, exploring new countries and diving into new cultures. I was lucky enough to meet people from all around the world at Worcester and to combine this passion with my studies and my placement year. I had the chance to volunteer in Bali, Indonesia during the summer, where I was teaching English to local children.
Now I live in Dubai, working for a UK university (University of Bradford) as the Global Engagement Officer at their Dubai Campus. At some point in the future, I want to return to the UK and obtain a Master’s degree while continuing my career in international student recruitment. I am excited to see what the future holds.
